just so beautiful…

My dad was buried yesterday in one of your beautiful grey coffins. We chose a contrasting cream plaque with details embroidered in green as it was st Patrick’s day and he was Irish. He was buried in a little country churchyard and as we carried the coffin along the country path to the grave, listening to Eva Cassidy singing songbird, lambs frolicked alongside.it was so beautiful and meaningful. We threw rose petals and shamrocks onto his coffin and the priest didn’t want people to throw soil as it would spoil the beautiful coffin. No-one had seen one before and when I now think of the day. I will be comforted. A wonderful alternative to the hard, cold, impersonal coffins used almost without question. May you live long and prosper!
